This explains what we collect when you ask us for a quote, what we do with it, and what we do not do with it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

The short version
We collect what we need to give you an accurate quote and turn up at the right house. We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and there are no trackers, analytics or advertising pixels anywhere on this website.
What we collect
When you send a quote request, you give us:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- The address to be cleaned, with city, state and ZIP code
- Details about the property — approximate size, number of bedrooms, pets
- How often you want cleaning, and your preferred date and arrival window
- Access notes and anything else you type into the message box
- Whether you prefer to be contacted by phone or email
Everything on that list is something you typed. We do not buy information about you from anyone, and we do not combine what you tell us with data from other sources.
Your approximate location
When you land on the site we make a rough guess at which town you are in, so the page can show the right service area instead of asking you to hunt for it. That guess is made on our own server — nothing about your visit is sent to a geolocation company — and it is deliberately coarse: a service area, not a street. Your IP address is not stored on your quote request or your customer record.
If the guess is wrong it changes nothing. The address we use is the one you type.
Cookies
There are no cookies on the public pages of this site. None for analytics, none for advertising, none for tracking you between visits. The only cookies we set are the login session and its security token for our own staff, on the admin pages, and those exist so someone cannot be silently logged in as someone else.
This is also why you have never seen a cookie banner here. There is nothing to consent to.
What we do with it
- Prepare and send you a quote
- Contact you about that quote and, if you book, about the work itself
- Schedule the visit and give the cleaning team the address and access notes they need to do the job
- Keep a record of work done and invoices raised
A notification email is sent to our own team when a quote request arrives, so that a real person sees it. That email travels through our email provider, which is the only outside company that handles your details in the ordinary course of a quote.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information, to anyone, for any price
- We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers
- We do not run analytics, heatmaps or session recording on this site
- We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote
Keeping it safe
The whole site is served over an encrypted connection, and requests that arrive over an unencrypted one are redirected. Staff accounts are password protected and passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to ariel.marcelo@macleaningct.com or call (203) 826-4092 and we will deal with it directly. If you ask us to delete your details we will, except where we have to keep a record of work already done and paid for.
Children
This is a service for homeowners and tenants. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
Getting in touch
Questions about any of this go to a person, not a form: ariel.marcelo@macleaningct.com or (203) 826-4092.
